I’ve had her for 5 years after buying her to commute from Tonbridge to Hove, a job she performed admirably. She had 18K miles on the clock and I’ve added all the rest but not from damaging small trips, rather longer ones. I recently took her on a round trip of 1200 miles to Dundee and back and she’s lost not a single drop of oil and ran strongly at all times.

She is now 22 years old and as such has some age-related marks – but nothing serious. Also, there’s a crack on the tacho glass following a silly error on my part with a wrench. The service book is complete – I do all maintenance myself where that is outside the engine but have been noting down religiously anything I do in the service book. Oil changes are done every 3-4000 miles (3500 on average) – no exceptions and it’s all logged. I have never done a track day on her – that was always left to my track R1 or my Honda Bros.

I like this bike a lot but quite simply don’t use her enough any more to justify ongoing insurance and maintenance. I have a brand new set of Michelin 2CT tyres and a brand new chain and sprocket set available as extras (£100 each).

Call me on 07767 398872 or email me at andrew.allan@appeto.com if you’re interested. Happy to entertain viewings but if you want to ride I’ll need proof of ID/insurance and asking price in cash to hold. Located in Tonbridge, Kent.
